New Oldies

I’ve always enjoyed  playing around with old pop
songs and finding new ways to interpret them.
It seems to me there is no point in performing them
the same way as the original

1. Moondance (Van Morrison)
This is very different to the original, being about half the speed

2. Things We Said Today (Lennon/McCartney)
Beatles songs can always be interpreted in many different ways
This is a much under-rated song - it was on the ‘B’ side of
“A Hard Day’s Night” although it wasn’t in the film.
